What do you enjoy most about your job?
Developing relationships with clients and understanding how we can help them by proving great service to their clients. I also get satisfaction in dealing with the high urgency emergency calls we handle and knowing that our very professional team can really make a difference.
Favourite holiday destination?
There are a number of places I would like to revisit, Norway, Canada and I would also like to go back to Orkney (when it it’s not raining).
If you were stuck on an island what three things would you bring?
I don’t think I would cope very well on my own, so an emergency radio, a flare gun and a boat.
Given a chance, who would you like to be for a day?
One of my cats, what a great chilled life they have.
If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money?
Ensure financial freedom for my family and then I would build a collection of classic cars in a huge barn.
If you could witness any historical event, what would you want to see?
My father flew in RAF Lancaster during the war. I have seen one flying but to see hundreds of them forming up into formation would be incredible.
If you could interview one person (dead or alive) who would it be?
My Grandfather. He had an incredible life and was a prisoner of war in WW1, but I know next to nothing about his experiences.
If you were to write a book about yourself, what would you name it?
1001 Useless facts I know.
What is your biggest achievement to date – personal or professional?
My family obviously but I have enjoyed helping the Aquarius team grow from a handful of employees to the current level and seeing lots of new clients start to use our services.
